Qaiser Habib is VP of Engineering at Samsara, where he leads the Safety products that help make roads safer for commercial drivers and the communities around them. His teams bring together distributed systems, computer vision, machine learning, and AI to solve real-world safety problems at scale.

Qaiser’s career has centered on building from the ground up: products, businesses, and engineering organizations. Prior to Samsara, he spent four and a half years at Snowflake, where he helped build the Applications product area and worked on AI-powered customer experiences. Before that, he led engineering for DoorDash’s international expansion and Labor Planning at Amazon, managing systems that supported workforce lifecycle at massive scale. He has also established the first engineering presence in Canada for both Snowflake and DoorDash, and helped scale teams across North America, Latin America, Europe, and India. At heart, Qaiser is a technologist and builder focused on products, teams, and AI-driven engineering productivity.
