Kerri Wirachowsky
Director of Inspection Programs – CVSA
Kerri Wirachowsky is the Director of the Inspection Programs for the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA). She previously worked in commercial vehicle enforcement in Ontario, Canada for 30 years. In addition to doing inspections, she was responsible for developing training curriculum and updates for enforcement staff, educating both enforcement and industry on regulatory issues.
Kerri was certified as a national and provincial instructor, participated in the National Training team for inspections and was a member of the Dangerous Goods Task Force.
She competed and won the CVSA North American Inspectors Championship in 2001 and was appointed as the Co-Chairperson of the event until 2007 when she became the Chairman of the CVSA Vehicle Committee. In 2016 she was elected as the Region V President until January of 2017 when she took on her current role at CVSA.
She is the recipient of the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal, Queen’s Jubilee Award and CVSA Presidential Award.
In her current role with CVSA, she is responsible for training of the inspection program for both enforcement and industry along with the development of all policies, bulletins and the North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria.
