Mark McKendry

Mark McKendry is President of IMC Logistics Canada, where he is responsible for leading the company’s Canadian growth strategy, operations, and terminal development. Prior to joining IMC, Mark served as NFI’s head of Intermodal, overseeing operations teams across North America.
Earlier in his career, he spent 15 years at CPKC Railway developing and growing its Intermodal franchise. This experience gives Mark a unique perspective on North American railroading, intermodal operations, and the broader freight market.
Mark has a deep understanding of railroad operations, sales, technology, and how Intermodal solutions can create value for shippers. He frequently speaks on the state of the freight market, how shippers can best leverage Intermodal transportation, and the macro trends shaping the industry.
Mark graduated from the University of Athabasca with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce before pursuing his Masters at the Schulich School of Business. He currently resides in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is an active member within supply chain organizations. Mark maintains an advisory board seat at Acess Employment and is the former chair of the Intermodal Associations of America’s influential Operations Committee.
