With over 30 years in the transportation industry, Mike Iasparro is a respected safety and operations leader known for his people-first approach. He began his career in 1990 as a dispatcher with Oshawa Foods and joined Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) in 2000, where he progressed through roles in dispatch, team leadership, and now serves as National Transportation Safety & Compliance Manager.

In his current role, Mike oversees CTC’s national safety program, supporting a fleet of over 152 tractors, hundreds of drivers, and a broad network of carrier partners. He has played a key role in strengthening CTC’s driver safety program, improving safety performance, and advancing innovative initiatives such as Long Combination Vehicles (LCVs) and intermodal solutions.

Mike is widely recognized for his collaborative leadership style and commitment to developing people, building strong relationships across drivers, carriers, operations, and regulatory bodies. His work has earned industry respect and contributed to safer roads across Canada.

He is a Certified Director of Safety (CDS), holds multiple industry certifications, and serves as a Director with the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC). An active advocate for the industry, Mike regularly speaks at events, promoting safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
